I'm a horrible photographer, but this is a quilt I finished just a few days before Christmas. It wasn't suppose to be a Christmas present because it should have been done months ago! But I finished it in time for Christmas and gave it to my son and his financee. This particular pattern came from Karla Alexandar's book - Stack a New Deck. It was truly a stress free project. Went together very quickly.....until it was time to quilt it!! (but that's a long story that I won't even get into!)

Found a great designer Heather Finnel at Burning the Midnight Oil. She has done one BOM and is starting another - she has a yahoo group that I belong to.

I haven't finished the first BOM but here are 2 photos of my progress. I plan to start working on it again in Feb or March (I have a lot of projects going right now)
Her next project is called Foolish Goose Tracks.

My First Retreat

I attended my first retreat a couple of years ago and made a quilt that is one of my favorites. I think I like it so much because I enjoyed the retreat atmosphere and meeting all the people. They are a wonderful bunch!

Ok, me blogging, how weird!

My husband is so relieved, now he can have a break because instead of talking to him about quilting & Etsy, now I can just talk to myself!

I added a link to one of my favorite websites. Quiltville. She has a ton of great patterns and photos.

Here is a photo of a quilt that I made, I think I completed this quilt sometime in 2003.
I'm brand new at blogging, but thought this might be fun. So, here goes nothing.

I love quilting and everything about it from making quilts to just looking a pictures of quilts, so here are a few of the quilts that I have made.
